Klein Riesling S Trocken 2021

To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...

We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.

What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.

If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

A rebrand for Klein but still the same high quality wine in the bottle. This vintage of the Trocken S seems to have boosted in a similar way to many others with the sun giving the fruit an extra boost. The acidity is still there but more restrained and there's a lovely fizz too maintaining the balance to produce a very nice wine. Still quite young so one to watch and try again in a year or two, if you can wait that long.

I had a glass of Riesling after completing my WSET L2 exam yesterday. I think I've done okay 😀

I love a Riesling and I believe today is International Riesling Day so I'm a day out. This one has a medium body. Medium lemon colour. Medium-high acidity and a medium finish. Notes of lemon, apple, nectarine, and peach. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Definitely one to buy again and a great accompaniment to our curried fish meal.

Hiya. Could you tell me if this or the 2020 vintage had a glass stopper? I'm trying to find a wine I loved and think it may have been this - but I remember a glass stopper. Thanks so much

Did not like this at all. Slight fizz, horrible tast. Not for me
