About the wine
Ravishingly ripe and refreshing Riesling
- Peter Klein is one lucky guy - he's young, talented, and on the road to great things. But most importantly of all, he has YOUR funding - and without that, this ravishingly ripe and refreshing Riesling couldn't exist.
- A crisp and lively flavour explosion, with juicy lemon, luscious lime and white peach positively bounding out of each glass. Top that off with a heavenly hint of fragrant honeysuckle, and you've got a wine worthy of even the fanciest al fresco feast.
- Wines of this quality don't come cheap - unless you're an Angel, of course! Riesling and spicy food are best friends forever, but if you're not a fan of the fire... grab yourself a bottle and try it with some marinated chicken and minty yoghurt dip for a bit of mid-week decadence.

- Peter Klein won the second place in Germany's Young Winemaker of the Year competition, alongside his equally talented sister Barbara, they make a dream team
- Peter and Barbara's Riesling Trocken, is a Classic German Riesling on the dry side
- Winemaking simply flows through their blood, they are the 14th Generation of Klein's working as a winemaker, producing wine is part of their family heritage and make up

Just fantastic. A text book Riesling. Superb balance and that enduring “parafin” nose that is just so interesting. Went down really well with a mixed crowd of drinkers on a Scottish Isle. Recommended.

Sourced my first Riesling trocken for many a year in the January sale after deciding to expand my white grape horizons. A crisp effervescent acidity with zesty apple, lime and citrus flavours combines with a subtle flinty dryness in the body and a contrasting slightly sweet floral finesse in the finish. Just wowed my palate lightly chilled and was perfect with strong matured goats cheese, cracked pepper crackers and aubergine pickle.
