About the wine
A light tipple with a lunchtime blues-beating 10.0% ABV
- The talented Peter Klein is currently crafting some of the best wines to come out of Germany. You'll be pleased to hear that this delightful Muskateller is definitely no exception - light, fresh and a lunchtime blues-beating 10% ABV. What more could you want?
- You like your wines to be full of flavour... but not too sweet. It's that elusive 'right kind of off-dry' that Peter has skilfully bottled by the barrel-load for you. Full of scrumptiously exotic lychee and juicy ripe pear, all balanced with a lift of lemon and a mouth-wateringly fragrant finish.
- Thanks to your Angel funding, you're getting a world-class wine for a steal. Snap up a bottle (or two) and try it with some succulent smoked salmon. It's wonderful for washing down that cheeky slice of cake, too...

My second vintage of this wine; it's a bit different to how I remembered the 2020 but I've very much enjoyed it nonetheless. A very aromatic wine, with pronounced notes of lychee and fresh blossoms, which reminds me of Gewurztraminer. Very different to Gewurz on the palate though, as this is a very acidic wine, with a sharp, lemony aftertatse. Just as well this wine is a bit off-dry, as I don't think I could enjoy this level of acidity without some sweetness to balance it. THe balance is just right though; refreshing acidity with some tropical passion fruit flavour before the lemon notes kick in. Nice to have a lower ABV (10%) option too.

Lovely wine. Not too dry and lovely fruity notes. Perfect with a spicy curry

Liked this quite a bit. Really subtle notes of citrus and lychee, very quaffable indeed! I would give this a 4/5, liked it and it is good stuff.

It's like an upmarket cross between an Alsace and a Vinho Verde. Excellent with smoked fish starters.

10% meant it was very light and refreshing, not a heavy wine

Thid is really not our glass of wine, lacking in depth of flavour, without body. Frankly it reminds me of wines from Germany in the very early 80s frankly very disappointing. There is also a slight efferveance which makes me wonder if full fermentation had been achieved.
