About the wine
Mouth-wateringly complex rosé from Germany's Pfalz region
- I am a huge fan of rosé wine and I always search for this perfect balance between ripe fruit and freshness. I wanted to demonstrate that the combination of cool climate and an international variety can create a rosé with a new dimension.
- Thanks to Naked and all their great Angels. I got to fulfill my dream - and the result really blew me away, because a really stunning summer wine was born.
- I pressed the whole grapes of the Cabernet Sauvignon to get more flavours into the juice. The result is a really complex rosé that shows the typical cassis flavours of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. A great tipple that will have you reaching for the next glass!

- Peter Klein won the second place in Germany's Young Winemaker of the Year competition, alongside his equally talented sister Barbara, they make a dream team
- Peter and Barbara's Riesling Trocken, is a Classic German Riesling on the dry side
- Winemaking simply flows through their blood, they are the 14th Generation of Klein's working as a winemaker, producing wine is part of their family heritage and make up

A bigger, richer rose than most. The colour has deep red tones. Not just a summer wine. Lovely on its own but expect it would pair with some different foods to standard roses - and plan to try

thanks for trying our Cab Rosé. It´s great with Pulpo a la gallega, a classical spanish dish from the region of galicia. But it matches also great with other seafood and bbq. Can´t wait to show you the next vintage.

This is a heavier, richer rosé than most, and shows its intentions in its deeper red tones. It also benefits from not being chilled too much - for me, 8-10 degrees is a little too cold for this wine to shine. I don't find it completely summery either. I could (and am!) be sipping this on a cooler autumn evening.

thank you for the fantastic review. You´re right with the autumn-style Rosé. It´s not just for summer and hot days, it can match great with seafood, maybe a spicy pumpkin soup or asian dishes. It sell fast, so maybe get some for christmas as well before it´s sold.
