About the wine
Bruno's blush beat 40 others in a pink Provence taste-off
- My Chateau Saint Hilaire Provence Rosé is made from the sunniest south facing parts of the vineyards, where the grapes are able to take full advantage of the Provence sunshine and fully develop their elegant flavours on the vine.
- I want to say a huge thank you to Eamon, Naked Wines and all the Archangels who chose my rosé out of a selection of so many! I've aimed to create this wine with an avant-garde style to share my passion for rosé wine making, and I'm excited to be sharing this passion with you.
- My Rosé is fresh and dry, with citrus, white peach and almond flavours, and with an elegance that invites you to share this lovely wine with friends on a sunny afternoon.

Meet the winemaker - Bruno Lapierre
- 20 trusty Archangels descended on Naked HQ to sniff, sip and slurp their way through 37 Provence Rosés… and crowned Bruno their ‘Prince of Provence’.
- With decades of winemaking experience under his belt, Bruno knows exactly what it takes to make the best blushing beauties.
- He’s a true master craftsman and controls everything from growing the vines to harvesting the vineyards - so, when you raise your glass of his perfect pale nectar you’ll be able to taste the extra TLC in every sip.

Just back from a long weekend in Marseilles with friends. We had a wonderful weekend with perfect sunny weather. On our final meal we ordered a bottle of this beautiful rosé, wow! It just knocked our socks off, we all fell in love with it and it was a perfect end to our time in Marseilles. Since then we have been scouring the internet to find a retailer that stocked it. Thank goodness we found it.

That’s great, Lynne - it’s a favourite of mine too.
Last summer we were staying in Aix-en-Provence and went to visit the Chateau Saint Hilaire winery nearby. If you get chance on a future trip to France I think you’d love their tasting room.

I have been drinking a lot of rose this summer! Yesterday evening I opened a bottle of another rose (not this one) given to me by one of my students. A white Zinfandel. It was disgusting - very sweet, and with an overpowering pineapple flavour. After 2 sips I poured the whole bottle away. Instead, I opened another bottle of Château St Hilaire, and the relief swept over me. This is the perfect light and understated Provencal rose, I love it.
