About the wine
- This easy drinker is the best of both worlds - fabulously juicy French grapes made in a fresh, clean, easy drinking new world style.
- The result is a lovely fruit bomb that explodes in the mouth, then a nice smoky kick rounds the whole thing off perfectly.
- Just screaming out for a bit of roast lamb, preferably with wickedly crisp and crunchy roast potatoes.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Charles and Ruth Simpson
- In 2002, Charles & Ruth took a leap into the unknown. They quit their dull, corporate jobs. Hopped on the first plane to France. And bought up their own little patch of grape-growing land in Southern France.
- It turned out to be an inspired move. Since then their delicious, Angel-exclusive wines haven’t stopped scooping IWC and Decanter World Wine Awards and rave reviews from wine-critic royalty.
- Not content to rest on their laurels in France, they set their sights on another opportunity, making English wine in Blighty. Your backing also gave them the confidence to do just that! In 2014 they returned to their roots and planted their first English vineyard near Canterbury.
