Carmen is one of South Africa's finest wine makers, as one taste of her superb Shiraz - made especially for our Angels - quickly illustrates.
South Africa may have come late to the Shiraz ball, but it's played catch up quickly, and now produces some of the best in the world. This one, with its dark, rich plum fruit punch and smokey oaky, peppery finish is a delicious example.
Punchy, explosive and with all the weight of a dozen half-backs, the only way to improve this wine is to drink it with a bit of cow that has been briefly shown the grill. A meat-eater's idea of heaven in a glass.

Torrontes is like the naughty little secret of Argentina. Few know about it, which makes it all the more delightful when you discover it.
Take all the zingy freshness of a good Sauvignon, round the flavours out with a bit of apple and pear, ease off on the gooseberry and add a touch of cream. Bingo. That's the big T for you and this one is a particularly fine example.

If you don't know Montepulciano, it is Italy's answer to new world wines...big, oaky and rich, with that magic Italian food friendly 'thang' going on. It's to Chianti what Martin Johnson is to Julian Clary.
As Daniela, one of our Angels described it "Pure velvet...delicious".Don't just take her word for it, it took a BRONZE MEDALin the prestigious IWSC too and 91% of Naked customers would happily buy it again!
It screams out for pasta covered in a rich, meaty sauce - good old Bolognese or meatballs. Failing that, then a big fat juicy steak will do!

A natural crowd-pleaser that everybody loves! Millier's made two amazing wines for us last year, but we really couldn't believe this Viognier when we tasted it.
Viognier is the Rhone's white wine gift to the wine world. This little Californian number is off the beaten path but it's a sensational wine at a very un-Rhone price.
Serve it deliciously cold and this zingy, peaches & cream dream, will keep you and your friends refreshed all year round!

We're not allowed to tell you the name of the super-famous Spanish region this wine comes from, but if you took a guess, you'd probably be right.
The best wine regions limit how much wine each vineyard produces (this means vines are selected for quality, not quantity). When there's a bumper crop any extra grapes are declassified and sold at a bargain price.
Carlos managed to find a premium parcel of Tempranillo for a steal, which makes this wine the ultimate bargain.
