Meet the winemaker - Scott Peterson
- Scott was an integral part of the Kendall-Jackson winemaking team, defining California Chardonnay in the 90s. That Cali Chardonnay style known all over the world as unctuous, ripe, full-throttled.
- He loves working with Angel funding because you let him make the wines he wants to in the way he wants to make them. He's all about old school California and he doesn't want to make a new style of wine just because it's fashionable.
- If you like gloriously rich Californian wine that takes no prisoners, go and buy a bottle (or three) of Scott's wine. You will not regret it.

Soft, lush and very tasty, especially with beef and ale pie.
Plum, blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, green olive, almond...
So pleased I have more on the rack!

I'm really enjoying a Malbec which I haven't had for a while. Deep in colour and full-bodied. Tannins are on the medium(+) side. Just enough acidity with a medium finish. Notes we picked up were vanilla, blueberry, blackberry, raisin, and sage.

Gorgeously intense fruits but all kept under control for a rounded finish without the slightest harshness. More and more to find with each sip.

On my, this is good! Read the blurb on the label and really hoped it wasn't setting itself up for a fall. It wasn't! So smooth and flavoursome. Berries, berries, berries. Beautiful.
