About the wine
Adrian and Rebecca's ultimate offering
-
Adrian and Rebecca's Family Reserve range is their seriously good stuff. Thanks to Angel funding, they've built great relationships with growers, so they get access to the absolute best grapes in the Yarra Valley, one of Australia’s top Pinot Noir regions.
-
If you're looking for a next-level wine that you can truly sit back and savour, this is the drop for you. This pale and light-bodied Pinot Noir is elegant and complex with delicate red berry fruits like redcurrants and raspberry. Rounded off with subtle oak spice.
-
It’s the perfect light and fruity red to snuggle up and enjoy on its own. But come dinner time is when it really shines. Try this alongside pan-fried gnocchi with mushrooms or a juicy roast chicken and veg… you’ll be in wine heaven.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Adrian and Rebecca Santolin
- 10 years ago the Santolins were at a crossroads, trying to cobble together a living making hand-crafted wines with 1 small tank, 1 barrel, and a few barrow-loads of fruit. A sensible couple would have quit and bought a house. But they had a dream. And they got Naked.
- Our Boy Meets Girl duo chose to make their home in the famous Yarra Valley. It’s tricky there for small, independent winemakers as mega corporations buy up the area’s top notch grapes. Angel funding meant Adrian and Rebecca could pay growers upfront and get their hands on the best fruit possible to make their deliciously moreish wines.
- Three kids, 12,000 followers and heaps of awards later, they’re still living that dream and hand-crafting some of the most delicious artisan wines down under. All thanks to you, and the power of Angel crowd-funding.

Elegant with subtle power behind a classic PN fruit structure. Lovely long complex finish - 'warm' burgundy - Rullyesque and a fair price

This was a real disappointment. We tend to love Pinot Noir’s but this one was not smooth nor soft. We bought a few bottles and have tried with different foods, but each time is not been particularly pleasant.

Sorry-tried my second bottle as suggested....still not very good. Acidic with little of expected Pinot Noir flavour and sharp aftertaste. Disappointed....
I normally drink big powerful reds so wasn’t sure when poured as my first thought was very thin like blackcurrant squash. However it turned out to be cherry red fruit delight. I paired it with a crackling roast loin of pork and it was the perfect match.I would imagine it would be a nice summer red lightly chilled….unfortunately it didnt make it into the summer. Hopefully there will be another vintage as I see this has now sold out. Thanks guys for opening my eyes and tastebuds!

Loved this PN so smooth and opened my eyes that there are great PNs outside of NZ

Ok with food. Not on it's own. Overall not a match for our taste buds even though 80% of Pinot Noir wines are.
