About the wine
Rare white Appassimento from the city of love
-
Pasqua was founded in Verona in 1925 by four brothers and is one of the few Italian wineries still entirely family-owned. This rare white appassimento is made from Garganega, and is stuffed full of dried apricot, honey flavours and a gorgeous buttery texture that’s just crying out for food.
-
Fondly termed as ‘Romeo and Juliet’s Wall’, look closely at the bottle and you’ll see why. The label is tribute to Verona and the 3,000 love messages left daily in the courtyard overlooking Juliet’s famous balcony. Full marks for the story fellas.

We’ve had the chance to cherry-pick the best of Majestic wines to plug gaps in our range. This wine wasn’t funded by Angels, so doesn’t carry an Angel saving. But thanks to Majestic’s buying power, you still get it at a snip!

Meet the winemaker - Naked Marketplace
Every week, on our travels or back at HQ, we come across wines that taste amazing but weren’t made for us by Naked winemakers
At the price and quality, we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t make them available to you. So we list them without a winemaker or a story under Naked Marketplace
They’re generally parcels and one-offs, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!
