Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
An elegant and refined white Burgundy from a truly textbook vintage
- 'We source the 100% Chardonnay grapes for our Bourgogne Blanc from a number of different vineyard parcels in northern Burgundy, so that it’s not overly rich and displays a lovely acidity, minerality and purity.
- Fruit is the key here and given the vintage conditions in 2021, the fruit profile is more citric than tropical. On the palate the wine is clean and pure with a good depth of fruit, ripeness and weight.
- It has a lovely balance and a fine-boned acidic structure that supports everything beautifully. The finish is long and full, yet supple and refreshing. We hope it gives lots of pleasure to everyone who drinks it!'

Serving advice
Serve slightly chilled – this is of benefit for keeping everything fresh, and as the wine comes up to temperature it will open up.
Food match
A delicious wine to drink by itself, or an ideal accompaniment to pork or rabbit terrine, charcuterie, roast chicken or drier goat cheeses. It would also match extremely well with lighter seafood, oysters, moules marinières and crab cakes.

Meet the winemaker - Michael and Fiona Ragg
-
The Raggs have been producing super-posh Burgundy kit since 2004, when they first crossed the channel to turn this famous French region into their home away from home.
-
Burgundy is one of the most celebrated yet traditional wine regions on the planet, which can make it very tough for outsiders like Michael and Fiona to break through. But having started from square one, they’ve now grown their Mischief and Mayhem winery into a fully-fledged Domaine with some of the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the world. They're practically honorary French at this point.
-
While the locals might scratch their heads at some of the new and exotic approaches this English pair take in the vineyard, one thing they definitely recognise is the quality of the wines they’re making - it’s truly artisan, hand-crafted, world-class stuff.

Loved it stunning!
Roast chicken tonight. With it we are having Mischief and Mayhem Bourgogne Blanc 2021 I last had this in a fine wine case 18 months or so ago when it required considerable decanting and warming to show well. Since then it has opened up and is richer and more approachable. Rich and buttery with citrus pineapple and peach flavours. Very nice.
Enjoy your evening.

A nice wine but not a delight. 21 not an easy year for some burgogne vinyards though. This is pale golden. It has a nose of toasted pineapple. To taste, we get a bit of apple, a bit of vanilla, a little spiciness and a lot of tannin, with a bit of acidity (less as it opens up). Good not fridge cold but maybe 12 celsius, breathing half an hour, and a match for chicken, baked. But not very complex, and for me, not great value for its price (as some others have said). Maybe holding onto it a bit longer would have helped? But the acidity doesn’t shout out “you should’ve cellared me another year or two as many bourgogne blancs do. Thanks for the taster though. And love the name.
3 people drinking with a meal - not worth leaving the remainder - bottle finished. And a very good evening made better
A beautiful, very flavoursome and refreshing white wine, just what you need on a hot Summer's day. Thank you!!!

Lovely smooth rich creamy white - went really well with seafood linguine - not usually my cup of tea but thoroughly enjoyed this as its a little different from the run of the mill whites
