We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.

What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.

If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

4.5 ❤️

An excellent Ribera del Duero. Concentrated fruit flavours with vanilla and a touch of spice. Highly enjoyed with sirloin steak.

Last bottle of a wine, long gone from Nakeds shelves, that is drinking well but still got plenty of life in it.
Tannins have blended in, there's still some acidty but not dominant. Complex dark fruits with baccknotes of vanilla and a touch of spice.

As others have said this is a big hitter and exceptionally smooth now it’s getting on a bit although I think the bottle could have lasted a few more years. The cork was in good condition (unlike other reviewers) although there was lots of sediment so be prepared to suck the last glass through your teeth ( much more fun than sieving).

We can’t buy your wines here now but I have seen them in Spanish supermarkets so I will try to buy future vintages the next time we travel through Spain.

I know you don't check in very often Antonio but I thought I'd share the food we enjoyed with your wine this evening.

I will post my review at the end of the bottle.

Refreshing, soft and friendly.

It’s a wine from Ribera del Duero but as with any good Spanish Tempranillo, this has enjoyed its best years in oak.

The result is what is perhaps best loved about Spanish Tempranillo (and I deliberately avoid the term Rioja, although we kind of all know that’s what I mean...). It’s just so lush and easy to drink. It’s all soft edges. If it was a new parents kitchen, it would have foam on all the corners and sharp edges, door jams, and locks on the cupboards.

Crazy I know, but just so easy to drink, full of Deep lush plum and black fruit, vanilla and chocolate but less smoky oak and more creamy influences.

Shame I only have the one...

As it is out of stock and it would seem that Antonio and NW have both moved on, I’ll just say that this was an expensive wine that was truly enjoyable (once I negotiated a soft and broken cork) and full of fruit flavour, mounting tannins as the bottle depleted, nice vanilla tones, a nice bite of acidity - overall it was a really tasty wine (maybe over-priced) and I’m happy to have experienced it.

Take a very good Rioja and make it even smoother.
Berries and damsons, a bit of coffee, a bit of vanilla. All blends effortlessly into a finish that lasts and lasts.

Wow, I had big expectations for this wine and they were duly met. Such a shame I won’t have chance to get this again but it really is a cut above.

It’s the deepest red you’ve ever seen, and has a clear liquorice flavour along with fruity blackberry. I paired this with a minty lamb roast and it was spectacular.

Admittedly it wasn’t cheap but if you’re looking for a fine wine and don’t mind the money - this is one that will stand up to it.

Wow! This is a big-hitter. Bold, plump & rounded - not shy at all.

That said, with the gentle tannins from some years of age after its time in oak & its rich and easy, please improve layers, I can’t imagine there’ll be many red-lovers who don’t find this a real pleaser.

The aromas are a real nose-hugger, I could spend a good while with it just stuck in the glass feeling the warmth & the love. On the palate, again, a rich abundance of plums, blackcurrants & other late-summer fruits.

In short, a real joy!
