Fans of the famous Chocolate Block wine will be delighted to see this Majestic favourite hit the Naked shelves. Made by the iconic Mark Kent from the very same vineyards, it is a sure fire hit.
- The blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and just a dash of Viognier make for a rich, full bodied red. With those classic Bordeaux grapes, and all that South African sunshine – you just can’t go wrong.
- We’ve had the chance to cherry-pick the best of Majestic wines to plug gaps in our range. This wine wasn’t funded by Angels, so doesn’t carry an Angel saving. But thanks to Majestic’s buying power, you still get it at a snip!

Meet the winemaker - Marc Kent
‘Inspirational’. ‘Innovative’. ‘Indomitable’. Just a few of the words we have heard describe Marc Kent. He’s a true free spirit and a pioneering figure in the South African wine industry, sweeping up awards wherever he goes.
Syrah, now a well known grape in the country, owes it’s modern day popularity to Marc as he put it firmly on the map with his legendary 1997 vintage of Boekenhoutskloof Syrah. Since then Boekenhoutskloof has gone on to be an industry leader, churning out an endless stream of award winning wines and overseeing brands like Porcupine Ridge and the Chocolate Block.
Marc began his wine career working in restaurants and is as passionate about his grapes as he is about his twin boys, boats and a good braai (that’s a BBQ between us).
