About the wine
Deliciously bone dry Sherry
- Manzanilla is just as light and deliciously bone dry as it’s brother Fino - with the added punch of bright green apple.
- This Sherry simply sings with crisp clean flavour and a lovely hit for aromatics - all balanced with a nutty, super smooth finish.
- One of the finer things in life. Pop your feet up with a glass of this in one hand, and a handful of smoked almonds in the other. Divine.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Alvaro Domecq
- If being one most famous horseriders in Spain wasn't enough, Alvaro also makes some of the most exceptional, top-class sherries we've had the pleasure of crossing paths with.
- He's continuing his father's legacy and exclusively uses traditional ageing methods that have been in his family for generations, which separates him from the multitude of low-quality, high-volume producers.
- Alvaro's sherries are the most approachable we've found - exceptional value with 'quaffable' written all over them.

Big no for me ,I apologise however is not my cup of tea , it tastes terrible and made me sick afterwards . Its very strong like drinking pure alcohol .
Afternoon and a happy Sunday to you all….
Roasted beef brisket with all the trimmings… so … something special was required….i present the Matt Parish 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon….just about to open it and let it breath … and a nice glass of the Manzanilla La Jaca Sherry to start things off in the correct manner …. Cheers !!!

I can see how someone would enjoy this- very dry, verging on an almost sour apple finish. Sadly though, its not for me.

Was recommended to try this sherry by Naked, & after loving supermarket brands, i thought it would be amazing since its double what i normally pay. Its God awful & i’m only drinking it because i paid real money for it. Be warned.
Not for me.
Didn’t like at all. Will be pouring down the drain. Sorry just not for me.
I have bought and will buy again. Delicious.
Since I was first introduced to Manzanilla this has been my go-to sherry. i love the briny notes that make it stand out from regular dry sherries. Brings back happy memories of San Lucar
