About the wine
Silky-smooth Shiraz packed to the brim with rich and juicy fruit
- I threw myself into wine as a teenager, planting vines which went on to be owned by a famous Australian winery.
- Now, many years later I’ve been fortunate enough to make this delicious wine from the same old vineyard which I know and love so well.
- Robust, generous and full of flavour, it’s the perfect match for any roast joint or sitting back and relaxing by the firepit with friends!

Meet the winemaker - Peter 'Juicy' Gajewski

Juicy was born and raised in Shiraz heaven – Barossa Valley – where he planted vineyards as a kid that went on to be owned by one of Australia’s most iconic wineries. “Growing up in a grape growing and winemaking environment, wine was in my blood.” he says. Forty years and a host of international awards later, he has literally come back to his roots.

It turns out the vines he planted all those years ago were Juicy’s golden ticket to winemaking superstar status. His knowledge of the vineyards, combined with the natural flair he’d shown in his career so far, saw him made Chief Winemaker at the iconic Penfolds winery, where he made some of Australia’s most prized Shiraz… in the very vineyards he’d planted as a boy.

Oh we love this wine so much. We try and keep a couple of bottles for winter out of.a case of 12 but every year we buy more and more...really good price thank you

Beautifully mild and an extremely pleasant red with a taste sense that leaves total satisfaction.
Great served with cheeseboard and crusty bread
Nose: Raisins, blackcurrant
Tasting note: Prunes, berry fruits, pronounced finish (my value £9-10)
Excellent wine. Rspecially with extra mature cheddar. 5*
Sometimes shiraz can be an acquired taste, but this was delicious from the first sip
Nice taste. soft but full of flavour.
