About the wine
Irene calls this single-vineyard Petit Verdot her 'opportunity of a lifetime'
-
The only thing ‘petit’ about Irene’s red is the name of the grape. It’s a big, bold beauty that’s full to bursting with dark, juicy cherries and a luxuriously long finish.
-
Very few Petit Verdots are bottled in their own right (it’s usually blended into other wines to add oomph). But Irene knew she could make the grape shine on its own. She says "this was an opportunity of a lifetime. Now it's yours to taste!”
-
This bold, brooding drop tastes superb now, but it also has fantastic ageing potential. So if you want our advice, grab a pair, drink one now and keep the other for a good 5 years. The wait will be worth it we promise!
