This is probably my fave Chardonnay to date. It had a sharp pear smell on the nose for me and tasted delicious.
Drinkable but bit of an aftertaste that I was not too keen on.
This is wonderful.
I’m of a ‘vintage’ when Chardonnay was the go-to white wine and as you can imagine (or experienced it yourself) the market was flooded with some pretty awful wines, many of which had more in common with pear-drops than quality wine.
Anyway, back to business. This is a fabulous wine, with depth of flavour and a long aftertaste. A slight fizz on the tip of the tongue, but that’s not a problem.
Perfect at this price point and I’d love to know who the maker is!
Buttery & citrus, easy drinking. Tastes like a more expensive chardonnay
Crispy white. Paired well with the hake fillet i had with it (well i had a second glass on its own and ejoyed that as well. Typical chaddonnay buttery with a hint of vanilla. If you like this grape you should enjoy this one. A favourite for sure
Delicious, fresh, aromatic Chardonnay. We don't usually get unpacked Chardonnay as they are usually bland, but this opened up my eyes!
Gave me a rash!!! Not had a reaction to wine before so was very strange. Drank over two days to be sure it was definitely the wine. Shame as I liked the wine otherwise…
Very nice wine. Excellent with roast chicken. Delicate and fruity.
