About the wine
Antonio is on a mission to prove that Soave can be truly spectacular
- Soave is a historic wine that has been made for generations. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to show Angels that Soave made with passion can be truly spectacular.
- The grapes for my Soave are grown in volcanic soil situated 150-200 metres above sea level. The very best grapes are hand picked in the vineyards. The result is a beautiful straw colour wine, with hints of peach, pear, apricot and citrus fruits - elegant, fresh and balanced.
- I recommend you buy two bottles - enjoy one now and let the other age for a couple of years. It will surprise you!

Last night, we had cod wrapped in bacon and Broccoli sitting beside it. I went with the Fattori Danieli Soave DOC 2021, which was the perfect pairing.

Oh that's a favourite of mine Paul, both the wine and the food and yes, it would be a great match!
I have been keeping some bottles for a couple of years as Antonio suggests to see how the flavour develops....

I may also be tempted to buy another and pop it in the fridge for a couple of years. Can't go wrong with a Soave.

Cod tonight with some bacon wrapped around the fillet and a side of broccoli to add some greens.
This is the perfect pairing for cod. It's a dry Soave. Medium lemon in the glass. Medium-bodied. Slightly pronounced aromas. Medium acidity and medium finish. Notes of apple, peach, melon, citrus, and minerals. Nice and quaffy.
All right all white 😁 Well, other than the freebie, I've gone down the white path. We're also more into Italian wines so a few in this order.

This is gorgeous, we had a glass on its own first and it was minerally with an underlying fruity sweetness, we had the rest of the bottle with gyozas and little hoisin bao buns and it worked surprisingly well. My husband was also very appreciative of the lovely label design.

Hi Jan,
Thank you for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the complexity of my Danieli and more has to come. If you own a second bottle store it for another couple of years. I'm sure you will be satisfied.

Nice Soave. Uncomplicated, clean finish. Good with aperitifs.

We would have expected more. It’s a little bit flat and underwhelming. It’s drinkable but boring.

Hi Petra,
I would describe my Sarah's Lugana, 100% Trebbiano cultivated in the Lake Garda region, fresh, bright, extraordinary fruity all together with an elegant body. Excluding a defective bottle, extremely rare but not impossible, the only explanation for your comment is that it's not to your taste.
I regret you haven't found what you were looking for.
thank you and all the best

This is one if my favourites. Smooth, not overly fruity with a lovely creaminess. Beautiful. As much as packaging shouldn't really affect wine enjoyment, to me it does. This is a bottle I would be very happy to gift. A simple, stylish and elegant look compliments the contents very well.

Hi Amanda,
So happy you enjoyed my Soave Danieli and pleased you loved the packaging, besides the artwork it was chosen to favour the great aging capacity of this wine. The combination of dark bottle and screw cap allows this wine to express its nature. Give it another 2 years and it will reach its peak.
Complexity, minerality and smoothness without losing drinkability.
thank you and all the best

Open this evening for a family bbq. Enjoyed with bbq pork tenderloin souvlaki whilst sat in the sun. Everyone at the table said it was lovely. Refreshing and zesty.
