About the wine

- My intense ruby red Amarone is bursting with aromas of black cherry, blueberry and vanilla. Every inch of the bottle is packed with intense cherry and raspberry fruit. Complex and decadent with a refined finish - it's the perfect red for a special occasion.

My favourite wine is an Amarone but prohibitively expensive. Followed the decanting/temperature instructions to the letter & this is right up there in all aspects for me. This is now my all time number 2 wine & will definitely be reordered. This should be 4.5 stars but this new reviewing system allows nothing between 3 & 5 stars - please get this fixed Naked people it's making honest reviews dishonest!!

I’ve gone full in and bought some of this amazing sounding wine for Christmas and New Year. How long does everyone find it’s best to breathe for? I’m thinking of opening late Christmas Eve for Christmas lunch. I can’t wait to try!

Bought a case of this spectacular red having been served it at a friends house with a splendid beef wellington some weeks back. The wine was packed with rich, intense fruit and i could really pick up on the vanilla notes. Complex, long lasting on the palate and packing a considerable punch. Yes it’s at the upper end of the price bracket, but when you consodet youd probabky be paging best part of £150 for a bottle of this in a decent restaurant, it’s fantastic value as an Angel. Definitely one for a special occassion. Blooming delicious!

Probably our favourite Italian red. A step up in quality (and price) frim Primativo, so not one for every day. Has to be savoured. Drink with those that will appreciate the quality.
