F. Stephen Millier Black Label Amador Zinfandel 2020
Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Soft as silk, this superbly decadent Zin blows all competition out the water
The cream of Mr Millier's ultra-premium crop - this is a tip-top-quality Zin, the likes of which we haven't seen in quite a few years.
It’s suuuuuper smooth whilst keeping up that all important elegance and character at the same time. It sits effortlessly on the palate and takes its time to work its charms, rather than smacking you around the chops with big bruiser flavour as a lesser bottle of Zin might.
It's a real class act that will wow over anyone lucky enough to cross its path. You'll find plenty of rich black plum flavours offset against bright blueberries with the utmost elegance. It's much more complex than almost any other Zin you'll find, lingering on and on in the mouth. Truly a bottle to savour.

Food match
Lately I've been experimenting with braised goat with my Amador Zin. It's hard to beat. We braise it with carrots, potatoes and Baby Bellas mushrooms in a beef broth. Delish by itself, but outrageous with the Zin!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to a gold medal or two... but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- When Stephen offered to set aside some of his favourite wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for Angels, we jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the overlooked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
