Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Decadent single-vineyard Sonoma white
Rich, creamy and overflowing with elegant tropical fruits and toasty oak, this is everything you want in a big, classic California Chardonnay and more.
With the help of your funding, Daryl Groom harvested grapes from one of Sonoma’s most famed vineyards, then barrel-aged it in French oak for 16 months for an oh-so-luxurious texture.
High-end Sonoma Chardonnay from a world-famous winemaker like Daryl would easily go for much more anywhere else. But for supporting Daryl to make this elegant white exactly the way he wanted, it’s yours for a song!
Best before
Enjoy it now as I have pre aged it for you in barrels for a longer period of time. It will easily last 5 years or so but after that expect the color to darken even more
Serving advice
Serve chilled to around 12°C. Best enjoyed with food.
Food match
Any white meat based entree. Seafood and creamy pastas. I love this wine with soft cheeses.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Daryl Groom
- Meet Daryl.... He has been a winemaker for 35 years, with some of his wines even served at the Oscars and Emmys two years in a row!
- Working as the senior white and red winemaker at Penfolds, his 1986 Penfolds Grange was arguably one of the top 3 Granges ever made - 98 points from Wine Spectator and Robert Parker!
- Daryl LOVES making (and drinking) Shiraz... It's silky, intense and simply delicious he says and the greatest value of all red wines.
