Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
A pioneering style of wine made in extremely small volumes exclusively for you
- This wine is produced from our estate vineyard in the Kalimna area of the Barossa Valley - home to some of Australia’s greatest and most famous Shiraz vineyards. Known for its unforgiving soils we felt it a perfect site to help pioneer the Zinfandel grape into Australia.
- This blend is really unique and it is rare to find these two varieties married into a holy union in the bottle. But the marriage really works. Naked Wines have trusted in my experience in Australia with Shiraz and experience in California with Zinfandel so I can be the lucky one pioneering this style for you.
- I love this wine. I love to drink it and I love to make it - the two grapes go really well together. The blend is very alluringly red purple, soft, smooth, medium bodied and easy drinking with lots of bright red flavours, touches of spice and pepper, and a beautiful structure!
Daryl Groom, Winemaker
Best before
Its really lovely now. I love the fresh pepper and spice and forward fruit. It will get better with a years age as the tannins and youthful acidity will soften and integrate more.
Serving advice
In really hot weather serve a little chilled. Otherwise good to just open and serve straight out the bottle. Helps if there is a wine glass!
Food match
This is a wine that works well with so many types of food. From red meat to salmon and everything between. I love this wine with pizza or burgers. It would also be an awesome red wine match to any spicy or gamey foods and it is great with BBQ.
Contains sulphites
