Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Denis's super posh, organic Côtes du Rhône is knocking at the door of Chateauneauf-du-Pape
- Rubbing shoulders with the likes of Chateauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhône Valley's 'Golden triangle', sits Rasteau. This might be the first heard of it - until very recently it was only ever bottled under the name ‘Côtes du Rhône Villages’ - but the tide has finally turned, and the astonishing quality of this little region has won Rasteau its own appellation. Now it's giving the Big Boys of the Rhône a run for their money.
- It truly is France's best kept secret as it's pretty rare that wines from Rasteau to leave the country before every last bottle's been spoken for. Lucky for us we've got Denis, our man on the inside and shortlisted Winemaker of the Year, who's made Angels this fantastically refined, organic Rasteau Côtes du Rhône.
- Take a long sniff of the vibrant nose of crushed blueberries, violet petals, marzipan, dried herbs, and black truffle, before you move on to its silky palate and stylish structure. The palate does the nose just one better, bringing flavours of black olives, black cherries, and nutmeg to the party.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Denis Crespo
- In 2015, a popular winery in the area was in a spot of bother and in need of a helping hand. Denis took up the job of winemaker and turned their old school French winery into a modern business and is already producing some spectacular wines.
- For what he has achieved, he is a very humble man who likes nothing better than a delicious meal with his family and covering some serious distance on his bike. His dream is simply to make fruity, juicy, easy-drinking wines that everyone can enjoy and he is so happy to share them with Angels.
- He was never going to be kept a secret for long and the big dogs of the industry are already cosying up to him with pleading puppy eyes. Trust us, this is just the beginning for Denis and we couldn’t be more excited!
