Serena’s been delighting Angels for years with the top-shelf Italian wines she makes alongside her dad in Piedmont, like Barolo and Gavi di Gavi. Now, she’s also blazing new trails with a set of stunning Moldovan whites that’ve gone gangbusters. We can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve next.

Serena knew from an early age she wanted to follow in the family footsteps… ‘I was 7 years old. Probably as a daughter in love with her dad, it was inevitable :-)’. She’s blossomed into a super-talented winemaker and is making her father proud with every bottle she makes.

Angel support helps Serena continue her family legacy, creating wines from the very same patch her grandad farmed years ago - and it’s also giving her the opportunity to discover new, off-the-beaten-track wines like her Moldovan gems. Not to my taste
Maybe drank this a bit too young. There's dominating acid and tannin that might settle down a bit. Right now it's on the astringent side, if not unapproachable.

Absolutely delicious.
Lovely
An easy-drinking full-flavoured wine, with cherry and plum fruit, low tannins and medium acidity. Worked well chilled.
Smooth and fruity but a total absence of a finish. Once the wine went down there was no echo to remember it by. Like good coffee I like my wines to linger.
Warming up for the Summer Tour visit to Newcastle on Thursday with a Cordero Barbera d'Alba DOC 2022.

This is a very nice wine with lots of bright red fruit flavours. I paired it with a rich Italian Ragù which it went beautifully with and then it drank very nicely on the patio in the sunshine. The only reason I haven’t 5 starred it is it is slightly sweet for my taste.
