About the wine
This pale Provence rosé is a refreshing, gluggable delight!
-
Commanderie de Peyrassol was founded in 1204 by the Knights Templar and, as well as producing some tip-top wines, they also look after hundreds of oak truffle trees and thousands of olive trees. Talk about being a steward of the land!
- Their rosé is choc-full of strawberries, has a lip-smacking peachy edge to it and is equally at home with charcuterie and other cold meats as it is alongside grilled fish, beef, olives, soft cheese and berry desserts. Basically this is an ‘anytime, anywhere’ kind of wine, so what are you waiting for..?

We’ve had the chance to cherry-pick the best of Majestic wines to plug gaps in our range. This wine wasn’t funded by Angels, so doesn’t carry an Angel saving. But thanks to Majestic’s buying power, you still get it at a snip!

Meet the winemaker - Alban Cacaret
Alban has been a winemaker for over 16 years and loves the sheer variety his job brings; from tending to the vines to fermentation and bottling, there’s never a dull moment!
- His favourite variety is Cinsault. Its delicate nature fits in perfectly with his rosés and those little grapes really seem to thrive in his vineyards. Talk to Alban about winemaking and he will tell you that striking the perfect balance between meticulousness and flexibility is key!
- Although he is no stranger to the joy of winning awards, to him the greatest feeling will always be seeing the happiness on customers faces when they taste his wines - be it for the first or tenth time!
