About the wine
This generously fruity yet elegant red shows great Bordeaux needn't cost the earth
-
With pristine vineyards located on sunny hillsides overlooking the Garonne valley, Fabien’s fabulous Château Calendreau fruit is the superstar in this generously fruity yet elegant Bordeaux red.
-
Its beautiful dark garnet colour highlights generous aromatic notes dominated by fresh fruit, cherry, blackcurrant and plum, and spices. The mouth is balanced with a touch of freshness, with supple and round tannins. The finish is characterised by a return to the fruit and velvety tannins.

This soft, supple and sumptuous red shows great Bordeaux doesn’t need to cost the earth. Already delicious, if you can hold on for three more years you’ll experience a whole new set of taste sensations.

Meet the winemaker - Naked Marketplace
Every week, on our travels or back at HQ, we come across wines that taste amazing but weren’t made for us by Naked winemakers
At the price and quality, we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t make them available to you. So we list them without a winemaker or a story under Naked Marketplace
They’re generally parcels and one-offs, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!
