About the wine
Our Hungarian heroine debuts her dessert wine
- Years ago, Angels asked us to find some wines from Hungary and we were proud as punch to come across Cecilia who blew us away with her ability to combine tradition and innovation in her wines, and the Tokaji is no different…
- Full bodied and complex, with sumptuous aromas of peach and figs and subtle wooden notes thanks to 18 months spent in some big ol’ barrels, there are two words that spring to mind with this one; ‘utterly delicious’!
- Tokaji (pronounced tok-ay) is a closed wine region meaning the whole process must be done in that area, so snap up this gem from one of Europe’s lesser known wine regions and savour something seriously special.

A dessert wine with added subtle spice and depth - more "interesting" than a sauterne. Delicious and a real conversion piece. Will certainly buy again when it's back in stock.
Superb wine . Perfect match with foie gras , i have one bottle left ...keeping it for as long as i can resist, thank you for this delightful wine.

Had this with our Christmas Pudding - absolute nectar… Just a wonderful rich and deep flavour that worked so well. It helped that we’d been chilling it for 6 months!

Nope. All in all a very disappointing wine. Didn't even finish the bottle. Tastes like apple juice that has gone off. Cannot recommend, would not purchase again. Wouldn't even drink it if it were free.
