We’ll email you a week or two before delivery with the details, giving you the chance to make changes or skip your order. If we don’t hear back, we’ll take payment and send your case as soon as it’s ready, so you can put your feet up and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple before anyone else gets a sniff.

About the wine
Carmen's created a wine that tastes good and does good
Merlot is a challenge to grow in warm climates but having Angel backing helped Carmen to secure fruit from the right vineyards. By supporting local growers, the land is being preserved for generations to come and she can’t thank you enough!
- Grapes from 4 different vineyards went into this powerful, fruity red from your Winemaker of the Decade. Carmen carefully handpicked and hand-sorted all the fruit to make sure only the best quality berries ended up in the tank.
- Brimming with dark fruit flavours and aromas of ripe cherries, dark chocolate and toasted nuts, this beautifully balanced wine is perfect to drink now but can also be squirreled away for a good few years if you have the patience.

I simply love roasted pork belly. The pork belly served with oven baked sweet potato topped raspberries and a serving of blanched asparagus and a drop of truffle oil, yummy! The flavour compliment the Merlot 2018 to perfection.

Meet the winemaker - Carmen Stevens
- From humble roots, Carmen blazed a trail, to become head winemaker at a prestigious winery in South Africa. Her wines won medals by the truckload, yet she couldn’t even get a bank overdraft to start her own business.
- That was until Angel funding allowed her to finally fulfil her dream of setting up her own winery. Carmen has gone from strength to strength ever since, winning countless awards (including being voted your Winemaker of the Decade!)
- With your support, coupled with her sheer passion and determination, Carmen is helping to create a better future for thousands of hungry South African children thanks to Angel donations.
