Market Price

To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...

We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.

What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.

If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

I meant to review this wine but I reviewed the 2015 instead. So I have to give this 5 stars and trust that 2015 is also worthy of the same praise!

I've had Albarino, less expensive but just with an extra edge of crispness. This is a nice wine but not special enough for my taste.

Great summer wine, offers something different.
Albarino is a grape that I have not tired very often, but will be back for another go.

I really liked this. First taste was a little bit strange not quite like any of the wines I usually drink, but the more I drank it the more I liked it. difficult to describe the flavour it's quite sharp and acidic which is a bit off putting at first but it becomes more pleasing and rounded as you drink it. The first night I drank it with
Rainbow trout, pink grapefruit, green lentil and watercress salad - a perfect match for a tasty light summer meal. The second evening it went equally well with a salmon, bulgur wheat, spinach and lemon pilaff. I shall certainly be ordering this again. I'm fast becoming quite a fan of Carlos Rodriguez's wines. Thank you Carlos!

Very crisp, and tart with a great apple and pear nose. Apple linger with a hint of honey for a busy of sweetness. Quite a nice wine. I really enjoy it.

Sadly, this one was not to my taste, although fine in a spritz with lemonade.

Not the finest Albarinio. Bit thin for my taste
