About the wine
Classy bottle of mouthwatering pink bubbles made with love in the heart of Burgundy
- With a top draw parcel of Pinot Noir grapes in hand, our Ben Darnault had a light bulb moment. These were the perfect grapes to make his Angels a brand new, premium Cremant Rose to add some well deserved jubilance to your wine racks.
- Cremant de Bourgogne is produced in Burgundy, just south of its famous bubbly big sister, Champagne. It may not have the famous title but Cremant certainly shares the luxurious depth of flavour - especially when you've got a winemaker like Ben at the helm with plenty of premium Pinot Noir grapes at his disposal.
- This is Ben's first Cremant Rose and it certainly doesn't disappoint. Full of creamy raspberry flavours, ripe summer strawberries, and a delightfully refined freshness and length, this is a bottle of fizz to savour... you'll definitely have difficulty sharing.

Meet the winemaker - Benjamin Darnault
- When Ben left a safe winemaking job in Australia to move back to France with his young family in the noughties, at first he really struggled. The financial crash of 2007/08 clobbered the winery he was working at, so they had to let him go. He couldn’t catch a break.
- That was until Angels freed Ben from the corporate fat cats and transformed his livelihood. Thanks to Angels, Ben was finally able to set up on his own and realise his lifelong dream of putting his own name on the label. Even better, he had an advance on his next vintage!
- With Angel support, Ben has been able to invest more, source even better fruit and establish strong relationships with local growers to improve the quality of his delicious wines year-on-year. With thousands of rave reviews, he’s a bonafide Naked icon.
