About the wine
Ben has bottled his prize rosé into a showstopping 1.5L magnum
- Your super-sized magnum of Languedoc rosé is everything you’d look for in an expensive Provence rosé. Same Grenache grapes, same pale pink colour, same delicious red fruit, but at a fraction of the cost you’d pay 100 miles up the coast.
- Think freshly crushed strawberries with a couple of raspberries thrown in to boot, combined with freshly whipped cream and a nice sharp bite. Top-drawer rosé and fresh as a morning daisy. This is one bottle you’ll definitely want to show off.
- Working with Naked has meant Ben can pay the growers fair-trade prices, which makes all the difference. The quality of the fruit he gets from them is the best money can buy. And for his rosé, he only sources vineyards that are grown, pruned and managed year on year to produce quality rosé, and nothing else.

Meet the winemaker - Benjamin Darnault
- When Ben left a safe winemaking job in Australia to move back to France with his young family in the noughties, at first he really struggled. The financial crash of 2007/08 clobbered the winery he was working at, so they had to let him go. He couldn’t catch a break.
- That was until Angels freed Ben from the corporate fat cats and transformed his livelihood. Thanks to Angels, Ben was finally able to set up on his own and realise his lifelong dream of putting his own name on the label. Even better, he had an advance on his next vintage!
- With Angel support, Ben has been able to invest more, source even better fruit and establish strong relationships with local growers to improve the quality of his delicious wines year-on-year. With thousands of rave reviews, he’s a bonafide Naked icon.
