About the wine
.
- You went nuts for the 2008/2009/2010 vintages and it's no surprise you've done the same for the 2011, with 92% of you saying you will happily buy it again!
- Shiraz and Viognier are a little bit like the odd couple of the wine world. They shouldn't work together, but they do spectacularly.
- Packed full of delicious dark berry, pepper and spice aromas, this is BIG quality for a very reasonable price - thanks to Angel funding

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stephen and Jamie de Wet
- Stephen has been making wine from his family vineyard in the Robertson Valley since the tender age of 17. Winemakers don't come more experienced, or, frankly, downright in love with their work than this man.
- He's been with us since day one, over a decade ago, when we started out. Ever since, we’ve sold more of his crowd-pleasing Arabella wines than pretty much all of our other winemakers put together. Actually, to be more precise, in a stacking contest it would beat 226 Everests.
- We couldn’t have picked a nicer guy to be one of our first, and longest-serving winemakers... and Stephen never forgets it’s the support of wine-mad Angels who’ve been behind his success story.

Not for me. A little sharp. Smells really good though.

The Shiraz blended with Viognier is a more complex wine.
Maybe you would better prefer our Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon?

Stephen - thank you for making this wine - I'm looking forward to trying the 2014 but sad that the 2011 is all gone. Just had the 2011 with slow roasted shoulder of lamb and it stood up well to the strong flavours in the food. In my opinion the comments left about it being 'easy drinking' dont do it justice as it is complex and interesting though very soft and clean. Easy to drink but not bland by any means. Loved it. 1 bottle remaining and wont be kept much longer. I think the couple of years the grapes have had to get to know each other makes it perfect now. Paul

Oh how I wish I had more than 1 remaining bottle. Complex spicy shiraz wonderfully softened with viognier. Honeysuckle notes to start with soft red fruit and silky tannins. Wonderful
