About the wine
Adam's homage to the world’s most famous dessert wine (that he used to make!) - in a 50cl bottle
- This sweet dessert wine was made with grapes that were left on the vine for longer than usual, giving them extra ripeness and promoting the onset of Noble rot (Botrytis), creating intense sweetness and complex flavours. We were able to harvest the deliciously shrivelled berries required to produce this noble drop.
- The most important thing in making a Noble Late Harvest wine is the process of selection. Only bunches that are healthy, yet affected by Noble rot, can be picked to make this wine, which means it's a relatively risky wine to make.
- My Noble Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc is beautifully golden with complex aromas of dried mango and apricots complimenting the marmalade flavours. Thanks to your support through Naked Wines I'm able to share this delicious wine with you!

Best before
Typically NLH style wines can age for decades.
Serving advice
Serve really cold, and try it in a normal size white wine glass rather than the classic tiny dessert wine glass. The aromas tend to have more chance of revealing themselves this way.
Food match
Figs grow abundantly in the Cape, and I like nothing more than either fresh or preserved green figs served with a slice of mature blue cheese when sipping my NLH.
