Old Trout a red / brown ale with an ABV of 4.5%. This beer is beautifully balanced lightly bittered and very smooth to drink. It won 'Best Beer in Festival' at the East Lancs CAMRA Burnley Beer Festival 2014 and then GOLD for 'Best Premium Bitter' at the SIBA North West Region Beer Competition held at Bolton Rugby Club on Wednesday 15th October 2014 and was a National Finalist in the SIBA BeerX finals held at Ice Sheffield in March 2015. Definitely a beer for those who appreciate quality.
