About the wine
Reenen went all out to create this award-winning SA Bordeaux blend
-
Reenen's Conclusion is a mouthwateringly elegant and refined blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, handpicked from his very best plots and then lovingly aged in posh French oak to round it off with a touch of class.
-
Over the years, this sumptuous red has won Decanter medals and been named among the best wines in South Africa by the likes of wine boff Tim Atkin. And for good reason. It’s beautifully balanced, with enticing aromas of cassis and plum, along with all those fancy, complex characters - like cigar box, leather - that you’d normally find in a fine French wine. Then you take a sip and it’s deep and rich, full of elegant fruit flavours that coat your tastebuds and linger on until the very last drop.
-
A luxury Bordeaux blend like this, chock-full of ripe fruit and complex flavours, cries out for a big steak dinner or slap-up roast with all the trimmings. So grab yourself a juicy cut of beef, pour yourself a nice big glass, then take a sip and you’ll be in foodie nirvana.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Reenen Borman
Reenen Borman is one of the rising stars of the South Africa wine scene. He made the highest-rated South African red wine ever scored by Tim Atkin, who called him "one of the most talented young winemakers in the world" – high praise from one of the UK’s leading wine boffins.
Reenen’s Boschkloof estate, on the edge of Stellenbosch, is a true family-run winery. Reenen makes the wines, his dad Jacques tends to the grapes, and his mum Marina and wife Marli run the office.
Reenen sells 90% of his wine to restaurants and bars around the world – so the sudden global closures posed an enormous risk to his family-run winery. Your support will be a total game-changer for his small business.
