About the wine
Prize winning Ribera Crianza - rich, smooth and perfect
- 2010 was a very good vintage in the Ribera, and this particular wine has won many prizes including 91 points in the Wine Enthusiast!
- The Crianza wine is grown in stony pebbled soil, which makes the vines work harder to survive. This makes the fruit smaller with a higher percentage of skin surface which gives better flavour and colour to the wine.
- Within an hour of picking, the grapes are in the cellar, with only the very best selected for the Crianza. It then spends a minimum of 12 months in American and French oak barrels. After bottling it rests for at least another year in the cellar before putting it on the market. I hope you enjoy it!

Aranda de Duero is the regional capital for wine and baby roast lamb, so try this with roast lamb. Alternatively a hearty stew also works very well.
