Star winemaker championing natural winemaking in Vouray
Bernard is one of Vouray’s stars. He owns 26 hectares of Chenin Blanc vineyards that are planted on some of the best soils the region has to offer, so he is careful to make sure not a drop goes to waste.
- He trained in Burgundy and Alsace and loves nothing better than experimenting with wine, which he has been doing since 1982! What’s more, he’s a firm believer in using natural winemaking techniques so his wines are a true reflection of the land.
- Bernard produces a whole range of styles from bone dry right through to lip-smackingly sweet, with some tongue-tingling bubbles on offer too of course - so there is always something for everyone.
