The grapes for my Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon come from the very best vineyards in Heathcote, Rutherglen and the King Valley. I make sure each grape receives the Rolls Royce treatment in the winery, where each parcel of fruit is handled separately, before maturing in top quality French oak barrels for 14 months.
My Diamond Cab Sauv is probably my most popular wine, with last year's vintage selling out even faster than the year before that. I really appreciate all your support, without Angels, I wouldn't be able to do what I love - making wines for you to enjoy!
This is a big bold red wine. The colour is dark, deep and brooding. It's so powerful and elegant and full of those lovely Cab fruit characters, but such long, fine tannins on the finish - it has me reaching for another glass, and another!

We love to age Port in cask. It just tastes great when aged for several years. This 10 Year Old Tawny is a blend of few oak casks we have in our cellar, from different harvests, that made this unique blend. My sister Claudia picked one by one and crafted an amber colour Port that will delight everyone.
Naked Wines always want to surprise the angels with unique and unmissable wines. Having a 10 Year Old Tawny on board is a huge pleasure for us. 10 years ago I would dare to say that Naked Wines was only a dream!
The colour is light and brown with hints of orange due to the long ageing in oak cask. Flavour is balanced with notes of dried fruit, cinnamon and a walnuts. On the palate the nutty flavours predominate, along with a touch of coffee and chocolate.

Whilst visiting my Terra Calda old vine Primitivo vineyards last year, I stumbled across these extra-special old Nero di Troia and Negroamaro vines. I've always loved the varieties from this region, and so I tried something I don't think the Italians have tried before - creating a seriously-special, unique blend.
Working as a team with Naked Wines has given me flexibility and confidence in experimenting with these tiny vineyards, nestled deep South of Puglia. The result is a wine that's intensely deep in colour with elegant aromas of violet, dark chocolate, mocha and spice.
The floral notes follow on to the palate, with dark cherries, blackberries and creamy vanilla notes, with a long lingering finish and firm, but balanced tannins. Still a baby, that will reward those who wait, but given several hours decanted, it opens up well already.

Angel funding helped me to buy grapes from the cool climate region Lower Austria. The vineyards around Vienna have differences in temperature between warm days and cool nights... the perfect conditions for producing complex wines like this one.
With mouthwatering honeysuckle, ripe peach and fresh grapefruit notes, it's well-balanced, with a pleasant zing and delicate touch of pepperiness on the finish. I love it with Katsu curry.

After Angels flocked to Benjamin's page to tell him just how much they loved his first bottle of the pale pink stuff, he grabbed his hat and set to work making them their next vintage.
Made exclusively for Angels using a heady combo of fruity red grapes (Syrah and black Grenache) with crisp white grapes (vermentino and white Grenache) to make a truly glorious rosé. With an elegant nose of fresh raspberries, and a crisp juicy palate with hints of strawberries and red berries, it ticks every last box.
And the best part? You can sink back into your sofa, glass in hand with a crystal clear conscience - this baby was made with mother nature taken into account. Benjamin kept his process as green and clean as he possibly could from start to finish, and plans to make all of his wines organic in the near future.
N.B. This wine is topless, meaning the winemaker has chosen to bottle it without the foil wrap around the top of the cork to save on waste.

The Lucien Lurton family have been making wine for generations, all the while chasing the next best winemaking region to work their magic on. Drawn to the finesse and style of Sauternes & Barsac, the sweet wines of Bordeaux, the family embarked on blending their very own Sauternes.
This is one of just a few Sauternes produced in 2018. It was a very challenging year in Bordeaux, with a rogue spring frost destroying much of the harvest. Fortunately, you've struck upon one of just a handful of producers who were able to fend off the frost and preserve some really exciting Sauternes parcels.
A glorious bright golden colour, with a strikingly aromatic nose of peach, honey, candied dried fruit and elegant white flowers. Super fresh and sweet on the palate, developing in the mouth to become much fuller and round before reaching a lovely long finish.

Finding fruit this great, and at a steal of a price is something as rare as hens' teeth. I had to snap up this small parcel of Sauvignon Blanc for you Angels.
I have a great relationship with this grower and he has faith in what I am doing with Naked Wines. Therefore he has a long-term view regarding what is a good price for the grapes. Making this Sauvignon Blanc the best 'bang for buck' wine I've ever made.
As the name suggests, this is a high altitude vineyard, at 185 metres above sea level. Cooler daytime temperatures during ripening and a consistent afternoon sea breeze give more aromatic fruit qualities. This wine evokes characters of passionfruit and lemongrass which really burst from the glass. It is built for immediate enjoyment.

Luca Hodgkinson prides himself on producing wines as naturally as possible, with the bare minimum of human intervention or man-made sulphur additives. This is a big powerful creation showcasing the structure, richness, tannin, and diverse aromas of Cab as a variety. On tasting this wine, the one quality that stands like a pole above water is the depth of flavour, it fills-out the palate and gives this wine the layered effect that lingers long after you had this wine in your mouth. Montagu is a secret, off-the-beaten-path winemakers' paradise, once known for sweet wine and brandy. Reenen Borman is the trailblazing winemaker who uncovered a gold mine of stunning parcels in the underappreciated region. With Angel funding, he's raising the profile of this promising South African region - and Angels can say that they helped put it on the map.
When Reenen's mate had just finished picking premium Montagu grapes for one of South Africa's iconic wines (which goes for £36 a pop), he set aside a small batch for Reenen. He was blown away by the grapes' quality, grown on rare 30-year-old vines, and decided to make it into something special, just for Angels.
Reenen took Colombard (a grape typically used for brandy) and showcased it as a solid support act for his fruity Chenin Blanc blend. The result is a mouthwatering explosion of fruit salad flavours wrapped up with a fresh citrus zippiness – a deliciously quaffable taste bud refresher.

Macon Uchizy is one of the lesser known whites from Burgundy, but that's good news, because it means it doesn't cost as much as some of its pricier bedfellows from the region and therefore delivers great value.
If you are a Chablis lover then this is one for you. It's a bone dry Chardonnay with a lovely minerality and a nice zing to the finish.
It's a great partner for shellfish, but equally brilliant with more meaty fish dishes, such as monkfish or tuna.

Barossa Valley is the holy grail of Aussie Shiraz, famed for its luxurious reds and big names like Penfolds and Henschke. This is where Josh Pfeiffer learnt his craft… and you can tell.
As the son of a Penfolds viticulturist, Josh Pfeiffer grew up among the most famous vineyards in the Barossa Valley, and he has connections with top grape-growers all over the region. This premium red was made using fruit from two of his favourite vineyards - Hampel and Alkina. He says “Both parcels offer power and precision, but they have different aromas and flavours. Combined, they make a pretty special wine.”
This dark, brooding red is the type of wine that made Barossa famous. It’s not a ‘whack you in the face’ fruit-bomb, it’s pure fine wine quality. A super-classy balance of fruit and oak complexity, with decadent notes of dark cherries and blueberries. In a wine like this, the talent of the winemaker and the quality of the fruit stand out a mile.

Treixadura is the grape closest to Javier's heart and in making this fresh, zesty blend, he planned to put it firmly on the map as one of the best white wines going. It's a grape that only those in the know will recognise, but you can bet that those same people would prefer to keep it that way...
With hints of fresh green apple, lime, juicy pineapple and peach, it's a big old breath (or sip, as the case may be) of fresh air. Lovely with seafood tapas.
