Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
A 1.5L magnum of luxury Sonoma County Cab Sav to steal the show on Christmas Day
-
California is home to some of the best Cab Savs in the world. Big, bold and as powerful as Rudolph’s nose – the only problem is they cost about a bazillion bucks. But because you’re an Angel (and it’s Christmas) – Scott’s treating you to a magnum of his sumptuous California Cabernet for free.
-
If you’ve been thinking about swapping the turkey out for a new showstopper this year, your magnum of California Cabernet was born for the job. It’s a blockbuster of a red full of raspberry, blackberry, redcurrant and blackcurrant flavours, with a naughty (or is that nice?) hint of festive cinnamon on the finish.
-
Of course, it’ll also happily tackle duck, goose, pork… or your Christmas turkey if you can’t bear to break with tradition. Just remember to crack it open a little while before dinner to let it breathe and unleash all its flavours. Around the time you’re chucking your roasties in the oven is perfect.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Scott Peterson
- Scott was an integral part of the Kendall-Jackson winemaking team, defining California Chardonnay in the 90s. That Cali Chardonnay style known all over the world as unctuous, ripe, full-throttled.
- He loves working with Angel funding because you let him make the wines he wants to in the way he wants to make them. He's all about old school California and he doesn't want to make a new style of wine just because it's fashionable.
- If you like gloriously rich Californian wine that takes no prisoners, go and buy a bottle (or three) of Scott's wine. You will not regret it.
