Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
A deep, intense Riesling from a top drawer and totally unique Alsace vineyard
- With a focus on finesse, elegance and complexity, Samuel is on a mission to show you the incredible quality of the Alsace region - particularly his rich Rieslings. And if there were a bottle to do it, then his bumper Grand Cru is top of the list.
- Every last grape in this Riesling comes from Samuel's "Schlossberg" plot. It has a very specific altitude and soil composition which makes for a super deep, strong and intense character that you simply won't find anywhere else.
- With a brilliant yellow colour, the nose is complex with notes of sweet spices and citrus fruits. It's followed by a full-bodied palate of ripe and vibrant yellow fruits. It packs a traditional Alsace bite of acidity on the finish, wrapping each sip up with a delightful freshness.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Samuel Tottoli
-
Originally destined for life as a sommelier, Samuel Tottoli was bitten by the winemaking bug after visiting, talking and tasting with winemakers who passed their passion onto him. He made his first wine in 1998 and, over 20 years later, he’s never looked back since.
-
A specialist in Alsatian wines, Samuel begins every new vintage with a simple objective: to create the finest wines possible. With a focus on finesse, elegance and complexity, he’s excited to show you the incredible quality of the Alsace region - particularly his rich Rieslings.
-
Samuel admits he still has a bit of the old sommelier spirit in him. He can’t even look at a wine without picturing a delicious food pairing to go with it, and he often makes winemaking decisions by thinking of a dish and imagining how he could create the perfect wine for it. So make sure to try out his foodie tips while enjoying his Riesling. Bon appetit!
