Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Spectacular Bordeaux blend from the iconic Stellenbosch hills
-
Willie and Faisal pick the very best fruit from their finest vineyards in the Stellenbosch Hills to make this luxury Bordeaux blend.
-
Kobie and Faisal’s Directors’ Reserve is from the New World region closest in style and profile to Bordeaux. So you get all the restraint and elegance you’d expect from a classic Bordeaux, but with a little extra ripeness from those long hot South African days. It’s perfectly balanced and everything’s in the right place.
-
Complex, rich and oh-so-elegant, aromas of ripe cassis, plum and cherry leap from the glass with tantalising hints of clove, nutmeg and liquorice. Every delicious sip is jam-packed with those same brooding dark fruits, with a delicious earthy spice on the finish, and a silky-smooth mouthfeel that’ll only get better with age.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Kobie and Faisal
- Kobie is a top winemaker from one of South Africa’s most medalled wineries
- Faisal was a vineyard owner who realised the grapes he sold to boutique wineries were going into their top award winning wines...
- So he decided to employ Kobie and make their own wines. After all everyone says 'all great wine is made in the vineyard!' After 10 years and numerous medals all their hard work has paid off, and they get the awards and not their neighbours!
