Never Miss Out
Never Miss Out
Never Miss Out is a way for you to lay claim to wines you love. Every year when a new vintage of your chosen wine lands, we’ll set aside a case just for you.
We’ll email you a week or two before delivery with the details, giving you the chance to make changes or skip your order. If we don’t hear back, we’ll take payment and send your case as soon as it’s ready, so you can put your feet up and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple before anyone else gets a sniff.

Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Full and ripe Pinot Gris from the Waipara Valley
- Pinot Gris grows very well in Waipara. The cool and dry weather means the fruit to ripen super slowly to develop beautiful body and ripeness. I've been working with Pinot Gris for over a decade and there are more nuances to the variety than you'd think!
- Thanks to Angel support and the total enthusiasm they have shown for my wines, I have been able to concentrate on picking, pressing, fermenting and blending these unique wines for Naked.
- Fresh white pear and nectarine combine with preserved fig and baked quince on the nose and through the palate with a hint of cinnamon. Rich yet restrained and dry on the finish, a white wine with many layers suitable for pondering or drinking.

Serving advice
Serve chilled at 8-10°C. Decant 15 minutes before opening.
Food match
I'd suggest lentils with red cabbage, grated carrot, grated apple. Drizzled with a sauce of Maple syrup, Apple cider vinegar, olive oil in equal parts.
For those who eat meat then pair this with roasted pork loin (and the red cabbage salad alongside) - it's delicious.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Dom Maxwell
- Dom is one of the best winemakers in New Zealand. He was voted New Zealand Winemaker of the Year in 2018 and 2011, he also won the prestigious Decanter International Trophy for Pinot Noir in 2014.
- We had a nod from Rod Easthope that Dom wanted to break free, become an independent winemaker and create a brighter future for his family. Frankly it was a chance we couldn't pass up.
- Dom has made wine for some exceptional Kiwi wineries, including Muddy Water and Greystone. Now he's able to put his own name on the label to make wines for himself and for you.
