Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
A distinguished red full of character and smooth, smooth Austrian style
- As the most widespread red wine variety in Austria, Zweigelt grows in favourable sites in nearly all of Austria’s wine regions. Since our soil is unique in Austria, and there are only a few spots in the world that show similar soil characteristics.
- Our grapes are handpicked, destemmed gently and strictly hand sorted. After sorting we gently fill our fermentation tanks by gravity, and wait for the natural yeasts, from the vineyard, to start fermentation.
- The variety brings slightly violet-reddish colored wines with soft tannins. Mature, full-bodied and long-living wines deliver notes of Morello cherry.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stefan Landauer
Despite Stefan having the wealth of 370 years of family winemaking experience and tradition available to him, he’s determined to reinvent himself and find his own unbeaten path.
Calling himself a wine grower and not a winemaker, Stefan believes it’s what happens when the grapes are on the vine that sets up his wines to be special.
Using the unique microclimate of Austria to his advantage, and a lot of gut decision making, Stefan's dream is to carry on the family motto of getting the highest quality with no strings attached but while adapting to all the current challenges faced by so many winemakers.
