Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
This intensely indulgent Umpqua Valley Tempranillo just keeps on giving with every sip
- Scott’s 100% Tempranillo hails from Oregon’s Umpqua Valley, nestled between the Cascade Mountains and the Coastal range just south of its famous neighbour, the Willamette Valley.
- Much like the Umpqua Valley, Tempranillo is one of Oregon’s hidden gems, thriving thanks to the coastal marine influence. This gives the grapes an extra dark colour, high acidity and intensely concentrated flavours.
- Its vibrant colour invites you into the glass with its vibrant purple colour, before delivering serious indulgence with flavours of fig and cocoa.
Best before
Feel free to lay this Tempranillo down for 5-10 years as it will age well with the wonderful acidity and tannin profile.
Serving advice
This wine will evolve in the glass, so I definitely recommend opening it up for 30 minutes or so before enjoying it.
Food match
Here in Oregon we have an abundance of wild game and forage for mushrooms in the spring and fall. One of my favourite dishes to serve with my Tempranillo is Elk Stroganoff with wild mushrooms served over buttered noodles.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Scott Kelley
- The Pinot Noir expert who made Robert Mondavi Private Selection and Estancia Pinot Noir for over a decade. Scott's wines have fans all over the country.
- But Scott's passion was to make his own wine where he had complete control and the freedom to focus on quality winemaking instead of corporate branding and marketing hype.
- Angels funded that dream, and Scott is making breath-taking wines in Oregon that will blow you away with their silky smooth flavors, stunning freshness, and incredible value.
