Never Miss Out
Never Miss Out
Never Miss Out is a way for you to lay claim to wines you love. Every year when a new vintage of your chosen wine lands, we’ll set aside a case just for you.
We’ll email you a week or two before delivery with the details, giving you the chance to make changes or skip your order. If we don’t hear back, we’ll take payment and send your case as soon as it’s ready, so you can put your feet up and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple before anyone else gets a sniff.

Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
If you think Merlot is too light - try this iron fist in a velvet glove
- This wine is a blend of Merlot from three different vineyards - two of which are from the family vineyard, and one from Cheshunt, in the upper reaches of the King Valley. Once the grapes reach the winery they get the Rolls Royce treatment! Each parcel was fermented and matured separately in 225 litre French oak barriques before blending and bottling.
- My Diamond range are Angel favourites, and my Diamond Merlot sure packs a punch in the flavour department - you will be hard pressed to find another Merlot for less than £20 that can compete with its depth and fullness of flavour, which is the beauty of how Angel support benefits everyone.
- My Diamond Merlot has a lovely dark red/purple colour with lovely dark cherry and berry, dried herb and toasty new oak aromas, and ripe berry fruit flavours that move into milk chocolate and red berries, with rich tannins to help with the length.
Jen Pfeiffer, Winemaker
Best before
My Diamond Merlot is delicious as a young wine, but will reward careful cellaring for ten years until 2030.
Serving advice
I recommend opening (and decanting if possible) my Diamond Merlot approximately 2 hours prior to serving.
The ideal serving temperature is 14-18°C.
Food match
My 2020 Diamond Merlot is a wonderful partner to most savoury foods, including roasted cauliflower steaks with char-grilled veggies; home made lamb koftas or oven-baked pork ribs.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Jen Pfeiffer
- Back in 2012, during a trip to Oz, Sam Plunkett insisted we paid a visit to his friend ‘the girl with the superstar palate’. The bad news was she was busy judging at a wine show but we were patient and the second we finally got to meet Jen, we just knew it was meant to be.
- Energetic, passionate and oh-so talented, Jen grew up in a winemaking family and fell in love with the industry from a young age! She travelled widely, learning her craft at many of the great wineries in France and Portugal before returning to the family winery with a desire to really push the boundaries
- Our ‘Rock it like a Redhead’ star has won hundreds of medals and was also crowned your Winemaker of the Year in 2015 so it’s safe to say she was definitely worth the wait!
