About the wine
Jen's best-selling Cab is back in all it's deep, dark and outrageously brooding glory
- The grapes for my Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon come from the very best vineyards in Heathcote, Rutherglen and the King Valley. I make sure each grape receives the Rolls Royce treatment in the winery, where each parcel of fruit is handled separately, before maturing in top quality French oak barrels for 14 months.
- My Diamond Cab Sauv is probably my most popular wine, with last year's vintage selling out even faster than the year before that. I really appreciate all your support, without Angels, I wouldn't be able to do what I love - making wines for you to enjoy!
- This is a big bold red wine. The colour is dark, deep and brooding. It's so powerful and elegant and full of those lovely Cab fruit characters, but such long, fine tannins on the finish - it has me reaching for another glass, and another!

Best before
My Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon is beautifully fresh right now, with powerful fruit and lots of flavour. It will also mature in the bottle for ten years until 2030.
Serving advice
My Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon really does benefit from some "air time". I recommend opening it (and decanting if possible) around 2 hours prior to serving.
My ideal serving temperature for this wine is 14-18°C.
Food match
In my family, Mum 's roast lamb with all the trimmings is a firm favourite, and it is essential to have a bottle of Diamond Cab Sauv with it!
My Diamond Cabernet is also fabulous with mushrooms baked in red wine and thyme; or with a home-made butternut pumpkin, sage and ricotta lasagne.

Meet the winemaker - Jen Pfeiffer
- Back in 2012, during a trip to Oz, Sam Plunkett insisted we paid a visit to his friend ‘the girl with the superstar palate’. The bad news was she was busy judging at a wine show but we were patient and the second we finally got to meet Jen, we just knew it was meant to be.
- Energetic, passionate and oh-so talented, Jen grew up in a winemaking family and fell in love with the industry from a young age! She travelled widely, learning her craft at many of the great wineries in France and Portugal before returning to the family winery with a desire to really push the boundaries
- Our ‘Rock it like a Redhead’ star has won hundreds of medals and was also crowned your Winemaker of the Year in 2015 so it’s safe to say she was definitely worth the wait!
