Christian Patat Appassimento Boxed Wine 2022
About the wine
The 'Godfather of Naked Reds' - Christian's rich and ravishing Appassimento - has been given the bumper box treatment
-
Christian Patat’s blockbuster Appassimento is one of our most popular wines of all time. And being a maverick, Christian jumped at the chance to share it with you in a brand new way.
-
Every cubic inch of this 2.25L box is packed with uber-delicious juice made using his famous ‘Appassimento’ technique, where he leaves the grapes to sunbathe in the southern Italian sunshine - sending the flavour through the roof. Think top-class Ripasso or Amarone but at a fraction of the price.
-
Every drop of this dark, brooding wine is jam-packed with tantalisingly intense fruit, and a lick of chocolate and spice, all wrapped up in a big oaky hug. Show up to a dinner party with this bad boy under your arm, and you’ll make a boxed wine convert of anyone who crosses your path.
