This delicious new Petit Chablis is the prince of Benjamin Laroche's wines
- As a 7th generation Chablis winemaker, Benjamin Laroche is practically white Burgundy royalty. And this classy, crowd-pleasing Petit Chablis is the prince of his wines.
- A rounder, fruitier, lighter drop in comparison to his ‘cru’ kit, the key to making a top Petit Chablis, as Benjamin always says, is timing… “the most important thing is the harvest date, very critical to get the fruitiness that is so exciting, but not too overripe to have the most possible freshness too.”
- A brilliant pale gold colour in the glass, on the nose you’ll get lovely aromas of white flowers and citrus with a slight mineral touch. Think fresh, sweet lemon juice and golden delicious apples. The palate follows on well with a nice balance of ripe fruity flavour and lots of crisp, fresh lemons on the finish.
