Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Deep, dark, brooding Durif Shiraz blend - this wine is not for the faint-hearted
- We love to do things a little left field and this is a blend we’d been talking about for a while! We were finally able to get our hands on some really great fruit and thought it would be a perfect fit for our eclectic A&R range.
- Your faith in us and our ability is incredible, and it makes us want to work as hard as we can to bring them the best possible wines we can make. We’d never be given the opportunity to make a style like this if we were working anywhere else – it’s something most other winemakers only dream of!
- Durif is a big, bold powerhouse variety and the Shiraz brings balance and structure, which together creates a well-rounded, full bodied, in-your-face kind of red. It’s still a very, very young wine and we highly recommend you decant, decant, decant. We’re really excited about it and can’t wait for you to try it.

Serving advice
Open/Decant 3-4 hours before serving
Better still, open it up and shake it around - get the air through it, pour yourself a small glass, then leave the rest of the wine until the following night. We find right now, that it's actually drinking better on the second night.
Food match
This wine needs to be paired with something as big and bold as it is. We think a rich, beef pie with potato mash or slow cooked osso bucco are great pairings.
Contains sulphites
Contains egg protein
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Adrian and Rebecca Santolin
- 10 years ago the Santolins were at a crossroads, trying to cobble together a living making hand-crafted wines with 1 small tank, 1 barrel, and a few barrow-loads of fruit. A sensible couple would have quit and bought a house. But they had a dream. And they got Naked.
- Our Boy Meets Girl duo chose to make their home in the famous Yarra Valley. It’s tricky there for small, independent winemakers as mega corporations buy up the area’s top notch grapes. Angel funding meant Adrian and Rebecca could pay growers upfront and get their hands on the best fruit possible to make their deliciously moreish wines.
- Three kids, 12,000 followers and heaps of awards later, they’re still living that dream and hand-crafting some of the most delicious artisan wines down under. All thanks to you, and the power of Angel crowd-funding.
