About the wine
Introducing the Silvaner - delicate, crisp and refreshing, it's your new must-have for any and every occasion
- The Silvaner grapes used to make this wine were grown on old vines in vineyards around Ihringen, a wine growing town in the western Baden region of Germany. In the cellar the Silvaner is produced in stainless steel tanks to highlight the grape characteristics, keeping the wine pure, straight forward and elegant.
- The specialty with Stigler wines is that it gets a little more time in the cellar and in tanks/barrels before it's bottled. This gives the wine the time it needs to develop slowly and to become a deep, intense and complex wine that you can drink when it's crisp and young, as well as when it's ripe and well aged.
- Elegant, crisp and fresh, this Silvaner has a yellow fruit character, flavours of green apple and hints of nuts combined with an delicate yet ever so slightly herbal and spiced finish.

Serving advice
Enjoy this Silvaner straight from the chilled bottle. We recommend a drinking temperature between 8-10 °C as this opens up its best characteristics of fruit aromas, crispy freshness, elegance and a smooth delicate finish.
Food match
This is a very flexible foodie wine that you can pair with practically anything - it's also a fantastic aperitif to enjoy by the glass.

Meet the winemaker - Naked Marketplace
Every week, on our travels or back at HQ, we come across wines that taste amazing but weren’t made for us by Naked winemakers
At the price and quality, we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t make them available to you. So we list them without a winemaker or a story under Naked Marketplace
They’re generally parcels and one-offs, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!
